How do aimbots/wallhacks here on ET work?

somebody (dunno/dont want to know his name) told me that they're kind of CFG spoof. is this true?

and how hard is to write one (even if i wont cheat \o/ i'm into programming)

There are many kinds of cheating tools. The easiest ones I heard about are based on colours - they turn player models into apropriate colours and then use those colours to aim the bot.
But there are many more sophisticated ways to do such things and they as such are beyond scope of this forum I believe.
