But will it be using nq 1.2.9 ?
( my Et installation only lets me play nq 1.2.9 ) |

I'm using Vista on my home PC, and ET has never installed correctly.
i get an error when connecting to any other mod.
It might be compatibility or admin settings that's at fault, i'm not sure.
that's why i usually only play on 1 server, sometimes i copy and paste the NQ folder, and delete the original. This will sometimes allow me to play with different version. (i will probably try this method on friday)
if other people also have ETpro problems,
would 'last man standing' run on NQ1.2.9?
..........more questions about this 'last man standing' event
1. is the xp saved or returned to zero on each map ?
2. is the game a frag match or objective match ?
3. what's the best player type to be ? medic/panzer guy/field ops ?
4. do you only get 1 life (or 3) ?
5. will admin glow people who don't attack
6. do we get free beer and chocolate ?

Try cl_allowdownload 1 if you haven't yet. ET will dl all needed files.

I used Vista also and no problem.
Do you start ET as administrator?
ad. 1 zero each map
ad. 2 frag, kill all enemies
ad. 3 what class you prefer
ad. 4 1 life
ad. 5 not glow 
ad. 6 what drink you want
Each round only 5 minutes - this is enough.
In most cases round will end faster
