Introduction
Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is a FREE stand-alone multiplayer game. You can download it, install it and play it legaly for free !
Allies and Axis fight on different maps, but its not only a firing game. Both have to achieve objectives, with constructing, stealing
documents,and they need different classes of soldiers for that : Medic, Engineers, Cover ops, Field ops, Soldiers are available,
increasing their skills in the combat. You can choose a variety of weapons to kill.
How to install ET
Minimum System Requirements
- Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP OS (Windows NT 4.0 not recommended for clients)
- 100% Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP compatible system (including all 32bit drivers)
- Intel® Pentium® III 600Mhz processor or AMD equivalent
- 128 MB RAM
- 32 MB 100% fully OpenGL® compliant 3-D video card
- Microsoft® DirectX® 8.1 or higher (not included)
- 271 MB free hard disk space for game files
- 500 MB free hard disk space for swap files
- 100% Microsoft® Windows® compatible keyboard
- 100% Microsoft® Windows® compatible mouse
- 100% Microsoft® Windows® compatible sound card
- For internet play, 100% Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP compatible 56.6k modem or better internet connection. 56.6k modem play is not recommended for games with more than 8 players total; broadband players should be able to handle up to 32 depending on their connection with the server on which they're playing.

Installing procedure
First you have to download the main program and the patches.
Download them on your computer in a folder.

download the wolf.exe file here*
download the ET_Patch_2_60.exe here*
download the ET-2.60b.zip here *
Launch WolfET.exe and follow the steps
=> click next at Welcome screen
=> click I agree (if you agree of course :) )
=> click next after reading minimum requirements
=> click next for installing Punkbuster Click here if you want to know more about Pb*
=> click Yes
=> choose the folder where ET will be installed
(default is C:\ProgramFiles\Wolfenstein-Enemy territory), click next to proceed
=> select the start menu folder (or just press Next)
=> click Install in start installation -> installation start
=> You can place a shortcut on your desktop, click yes
=> click on finish
Enemy territory is now installed on your PC. You have to patch it
Double click on the ET_Patch_2_60.exe and follow the steps.
Unzip the ET-2.60b.zip file (using winzip or winrar)
Copy the ET.exe from the folder you unzipped, (\Enemy Territory 2.60b\win32)
and paste it in C:\ProgramFiles\Wolfenstein-Enemy territory , replacing existing files.
Enemy territory is now installed.
Settings
To launch ET, double click on the created icon on ur desktop
ET shows you a video with different maps. Press a key to skip if you want.
Create your profile
ET ask you to create your profile :
Player alias : choose a name and write it. You can change it after, learn how to use colors in your name ...
Video quality : let it to 800x600 to begin with, normal quality. You can change all settings after.
Connection : choose ISDN, LAN/Cable/xDSL, or Modem
Important : dont forget to enable punkbuster, the anti cheat guardian. Click on ENABLE PUNKBUSTER
ET is now ready.

Connecting to our servers
There are several ways to connect to Dark-Alchemy servers
Using console
Open console (press the key left to 1 : ~ or ²)
Type :
/connect 213.239.207.85:27960 or /connect dark-alchemy.com
You will be connected to A1 server
All files you need will be downloaded on your PC
Using SL Gamelauncher
and follow the install instruction from SL site*
After install, just go to Dark-Alchemy home page here and click on connect, in the bottom of the page.
or use et://213.239.207.85:27960/84 to connect with SL gamelauncher.
